
Kamela Williams, MEd, MSc, BEd
Kamela is a budding Tenant Service Coordinator, has developed experience in the social housing sector through her work with Toronto Community Corporation since 2022. In her current role, she advocates for tenants by collaborating with vendors, contractors and stakeholders to support effective service delivery within the social housing community in Toronto.
Committed to continuous professional development, Kamela has completed her first course with the Institute of Housing Management and is currently pursuing accreditation. She has also completed Rent-Geared-to-Income (RGI) through Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association to further strengthen her expertise in social housing administration. Currently enrolled in the Social Service Worker part-time program at Seneca Polytechnic, Kamela is passionate about advancing her knowledge and contributing meaningfully to the housing sector.
A trained educator, Kamela, brings more than 19 years of experience in Hospitality, Tourism and Adult Education, having worked with adult learners since 2005.
She has a strong background in pedagogy, curriculum development, and creating engaging learning materials that support students’ success. Kamela is dedicated to lifelong learning and possesses a strong understanding of the social determinant that contributes to successful and sustainable tenancies.
