Tracy Geddes is an accomplished housing professional, educator, consultant, and governance leader with over 25 years of experience in the Co-operative, Non-Profit, and affordable housing sectors. Her career has spanned housing operations, governance, compliance, financial oversight, Board leadership, and sector education, providing her with a multifaceted perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing housing organizations. Recognized for her expertise in governance and Board effectiveness, Tracy works with housing organizations across Ontario to strengthen leadership capacity through Board training, mentoring, facilitation, governance reviews, strategic guidance, and procurement consulting services.
In addition to her consulting practice, Tracy serves on the Board of Directors of the Institute of Housing Management, where she is an instructor, course developer, and Chair of the Conference Committee. She develops and delivers professional education programs for housing professionals, including governance and leadership-focused chat sessions, specialized workshops, and courses addressing emerging legislative and organizational responsibilities within the housing sector. Known for her practical, collaborative approach and deep commitment to the housing sector, Tracy is passionate about helping organizations build strong foundations for long-term success while creating sustainable, accountable, and inclusive housing communities.
