With a career spanning over three decades, the journey of Brian in the fire service commenced in St. Thomas in 1989. Rising through the ranks, Brian earned the title of fire prevention officer in 2007 before gracefully retiring in 2017 after dedicating 28 years to the profession. July of this year will mark an impressive milestone as Brian celebrates 35 years of unwavering commitment to the fire service, continuing the legacy as the Chief Fire Prevention Officer in St Marys, Ontario.
Beyond the realm of firefighting, Brian enjoys a fulfilling family life. Married to a golf course superintendent, Brian takes pride in the accomplishments of their two daughters—one a dedicated nurse, and the other an RCMP Officer. Adding another layer to the family's connection with public safety, Brian's granddaughter is currently immersed in the 911 dispatch course.
In the realm of personal interests, Brian finds joy in the tranquility of a round of golf, maintaining a healthy lifestyle through regular workouts, cherishing quality family time, and taking leisurely strolls with their beloved dogs. The rich tapestry of Brian's life weaves together a dedicated career in firefighting with the warmth and love of a close-knit family and a diverse set of personal pursuits.
