James Barker, B.E.S., CIAQM

James is a Certified Indoor Air Quality Manager, and has been providing professional environmental, health and safety consulting services to commercial, industrial, residential, and municipal clients for the past 27 years. As the President of Barker Environmental, which was established in 2016, James specializes in conducting mould investigations, asbestos and designated substance surveys, and indoor air quality assessments. He has completed more than 600 mould investigations and assisted with more than 300 mould remediation projects. James understands that mould issues need to be treated with care. Therefore, he applies a common sense, non-alarmist approach. He understands that how issues are presented and reported is just as important as the quality and responsiveness of the service provided.
