Ed is a results-driven facilities professional with over 38 years of experience in facility and asset management. He has a proven track record of providing strategic leadership and innovation in facility operations, asset management, and reliability, building sciences, mechanical and electrical systems, and contract administration across academic, private and government sectors. Ed serves as Senior Director, Facilities & Security Services at Mohawk College, and teaches at several institutions and conducts lectures, workshops, seminars, and courses on topics related to property and facility management —covering operations, construction, maintenance, and environmental studies. Ed’s expertise extends to the development and implementation of property and facility management programs, including operational planning, capital replacement strategies, and comprehensive Asset Management Plans. He is an active member of numerous professional organizations and holds several industry designations, including the Hamilton‑Halton Construction Association, the Association of Architectural Technologists of Ontario, the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technologists, the International Facility Management Association, the Ontario College of Trades (Red Seal), and the Institute of Housing Management, as the Vice President.
