Assistant Property Manager
Various Locations in the GTA
We are hiring for the full-time permanent position of Assistant Property Manager for our portfolio of rental properties located in the Greater Toronto Area.
Job Description
Reporting directly to the Property Manager, the ideal candidate will be responsible with collecting rental payments, communicating with tenants, and managing the scheduling of contractors coming to the rental buildings. Further responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Meeting prospective tenants and giving suite tours
- Communicating with tenants regarding rental payments, increases and other property management matters
- Driving to the various rental properties to do inspections to ensure they are presentable, and any maintenance issues are being addressed
- Keeping stock of supplies and coordinating any supply orders for the various properties
- Answering rental office phone lines, directing calls, and other general office administrative duties
- Assisting the Property Manager
- Assisting with entering payments into the accounting system
Qualifications
- High school or high school equivalent education
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with Yardi accounting system is a plus
