Elective Courses
In order to qualify as an elective under the certificate program in the Property Management program, the elective must be taken through a recognized community College/University as an “in-class or on-line option” and must meet the following criteria:
- Course must be a minimum of 30 hours in length
- Minimum accepted passing grade of 60% is required
- Course must be current or been taken within the past seven years
- Course outline (detailed course description) and transcript must be provided
- Course topic must be directly relevant to the job description of a property manager
- Course topics for the 1 required electives must be diversified – ie. if a student has taken 2 accounting related courses – only 1 would be accepted for credit
