The Institute of Housing Management (IHM) and the Co-operative Housing Federation of Canada (CHF Canada) are extremely excited to announce the launch of a Co-operative Housing Accreditation Program.
This program will consist of four (4) courses and two (2) electives and the content will be customized to meet the property management needs of the co-operative housing sector.
The core courses will include:
A number of electives will be developed with a focus on providing additional learning opportunities to complete the requirements of the accreditation program.
The program will be rolled out throughout 2024 and, while the exact timelines are not available at this time, it is confirmed that the Human Relations course will be offered in conjunction with CHF Canada’s Annual Meeting in June 2024 in Winnipeg, MB. One elective will also be offered at the Annual Meeting.
The program will be delivered through a number of vehicles including online, distance learning and virtual instructor-led.
This exciting announcement is the culmination of a long-standing partnership between IHM and CHF Canada, and a commitment by both parties to provide a program that will enhance the knowledge and professionalism of the co-operative housing sector.
