It is more important than ever to be taking care of our well-being and managing life events in a positive manner that has a whole person approach to support our optimal health and well-being.
We welcome Jill back to discuss Mental health and the issues we face.
In our last Chat Room session, we looked at what is the impact of life events on us and how to identify the triggers. We spent time talking about how to manage the impacts and how to build resilience. In this Chat Room session, I will expand on management techniques and building resilience. As well, we will have time for open dialogue to allow us to talk about different strategies for managing life event that you may be struggling with.

Jill Thompson is a Registered Nurse with over 35 years’ experience in healthcare (acute care and long-term care), human resources, occupational health, wellness & safety and attendance & disability management, within the public and private sectors. Jill’s broad experience also includes the areas of return to work, prevention, critical incident/peer-to-peer programs and other related HR areas.
Currently, Jill holds the position of Manager – Occupational Health Safety & Wellness with the North Bay Regional Health Centre where she works with a dynamic team of dedicated professionals who support the organization in setting and achieving goals to create a healthy work environment, while supporting individual employees in realizing their own goals for optimal wellbeing.
